Splintered (Splintered, #1) by A.G. Howard

Splintered has probably the most beautiful cover I've ever seen. Personally I chose this book because of the cover, I guess that's normal right? The book is kinda based on Alice in Wonderland which is a winner for me because I absolutely love Alice in Wonderland.

I love this book so much because rather then the happy Wonderland that we all know and love this book brings out the darker side of Wonderland that no one ever thought to imagine. The premise of the story, the set up, the characters and the kinda twist ending was something that I really loved. I felt like the characters of the book really speak for themselves. The two guys in this book is also something that really kept me going because of the fact that you really want to know who Alyssa (main character) chooses. This I think is where the book let me down a little because like any other YA book the girl has to choose from two boys, and the boy that I usually root for is never chosen by the girl.

I would give this book a 4/5 stars because even though the book was good it's just missing something for me. But I loved the book nonetheless and would definitely recommend the book to anyone who is interested in book like this.
